Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify order details
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and patient billing inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists on medication therapy management
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician certification
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS/1, PDX)
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
