Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Maintain sterile compounding environments following USP 797 standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and documentation
- Train new technicians on pharmacy protocols and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician certification
- Minimum 2 years retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of medication compounding procedures
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of HIPAA compliance protocols
