Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records
- Coordinate with healthcare providers on prescription clarifications
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV preparations
Qualifications
- Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician certification
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
