Responsibilities
- Prepare and compound sterile/non-sterile medications with 100% accuracy
- Manage prescription fulfillment workflow in Epic EMR system
- Conduct inventory management and controlled substance audits
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians
- Collaborate with pharmacists on medication therapy reviews
- Maintain compliance with FDA, DEA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Provide exceptional patient consultation on medication usage
Qualifications
- Active PTCB certification in good standing
- Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in sterile compounding (USP 797)
- Strong knowledge of DC pharmacy regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and mathematical skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with Epic EMR pharmacy modules
- CPR certification preferred
