Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceuticals
- Maintain precise patient records and medication documentation
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software (Omni preferred)
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and state pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
