Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure compliance.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
- Assist customers with medication inquiries and provide accurate drug information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Process payments and handle returns/exchanges according to policy.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred.
