Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for complex surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterility
- Manage surgical equipment and inventory with precision and efficiency
- Implement strict infection control protocols and OSHA compliance measures
- Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
- Document procedural details and maintain accurate surgical records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience in specialty surgeries
- BLS/CPR certification and current California state license
- Proven expertise in orthopedic, neuro, or cardiovascular procedures
- Exceptional knowledge of sterile processing and equipment sterilization
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical environments
