Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile surgical fields and equipment for complex procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations using advanced surgical technology
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and inventory of provided equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Operate robotic surgical systems and specialized instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years OR experience with robotic surgery systems
- BLS certification and current Michigan license
- Proficiency in handling laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
