Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain organized medication inventory and stock rotation systems
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV admixtures when certified
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
- Ensure strict compliance with DEA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license or eligible for immediate registration
- Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
