Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments
- Monitor patient vital signs and sterile field integrity
- Document surgical procedures accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with surgical team for seamless case turnover
- Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of recent surgical tech experience in specialty OR
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing and OSHA protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience with minimally invasive procedures preferred
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or equivalent
