Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients in a clinical setting.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and families regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current and active Massachusetts CNA License required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
