Responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring: Observe patients' conditions, noting changes in appearance, behavior, or symptoms.
- Hygiene Assistance: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure dignity and comfort.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record patient temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Medication Support: Administer medication as prescribed and track intake/output.
- Communication: Report changes in patient status to RNs and physicians immediately.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage patients in meaningful activities.
Qualifications
- License: Current and active CNA license in the state of Minnesota.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
