Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and daily health updates accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate significant changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for residents and patients at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document all care provided in electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA license in the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
