Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Assist the nursing staff with medical procedures, wound care, and medication administration under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment to prevent infections and ensure comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and needs.
  • Document patient progress and any changes in condition in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following established safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the state of Oklahoma.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
