Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures and patient examinations.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or strollers.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California State Certification (CNA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and move patients as necessary.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
