Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine care urgency using standardized protocols
- Triage incoming calls and in-person consultations efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document assessments and patient interactions in EHR systems with precision
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and family members
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong triage assessment skills (e.g., ENPC or TNCC preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
