Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Document patient care activities and intake/output accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by RNs.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA or LPN license in the State of Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not mandatory for the right candidates.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
