Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move safely between beds, wheelchairs, and other furniture using proper body mechanics.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care logs and reports.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Monitor and assist with oral hygiene and skin care to prevent infection.
- Communication: Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary – we welcome new graduates and provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- License: Current CNA certification or enrollment in a state-approved CNA program.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
