Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents and patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or stretchers as required.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and families regarding patient status and needs.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Support the nursing staff in maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA certification (CNA I) and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient safety and care.
