Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transportation within the facility or during transfers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to lift, stand, and move for extended periods as required by the role.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
