Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition changes, and intake/output
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and report observations
- Administer basic treatments under supervision (e.g., wound care, catheter care)
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and negative TB test
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/frail populations
- Reliable transportation for flexible shift coverage
