Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring from bed to chair and walking.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Change bed linens and assist with meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
- Support the nursing team with documentation and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
