Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by collecting, organizing, and documenting patient data.
- Implement and coordinate patient care plans, in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond immediately to emergencies.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning instructions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Valid, unencumbered RN license to practice in North Carolina.
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for new hires).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Completion of NCLEX exam and ready for start date.
