Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic hygiene care and comfort measures to residents/patients.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the state of Texas required.
- Entry-level candidates with a high school diploma or GED are encouraged to apply.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and assist patients for extended periods.
