Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Move and assist patients safely using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean and sanitary.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
