Long Beach, CA is a vibrant community, and we are looking for local talent to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in client mood, behavior, or physical condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and recreational activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or errands using a personal vehicle or company vehicle.
- Document care provided and any incidents in the electronic health records system accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and in good standing.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
