Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort at all times.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the nursing team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control standards.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned to ensure a pleasant living space.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification from the State of Ohio is required (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Previous experience is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic new graduates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation (required for shift coverage).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly preferred.
