Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs).
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injuries.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the State of Texas.
- CPR and BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
