Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations, procedures, and patient treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Take and develop digital X-rays, panoramic X-rays, and intraoral photographs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Perform chairside functions such as taking impressions and placing temporary restorations.
Qualifications
- DANB Certified (CDA) preferred, but candidates with 1+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid North Carolina Dental Assistant license.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
