Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics for safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medication and documentation as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Active California CNA Certification (CNA License) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or ACLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a clinical, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and comfort.
