Job Summary:
As a CNA, you will be the bridge between our patients and the nursing team. You will ensure our patients receive the highest quality of daily living support while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the charge nurse immediately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and the operation of medical equipment as directed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Ohio CNA license required.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not always required for top talent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
