Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of senior staff and charge nurses.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting any changes immediately to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Current, active RN license in the State of Illinois (IL) or compact state eligibility.
- Eligible for Illinois Nurse Licensure Compact (IL-MLC).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred for specific units.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated empathy, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.
