Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators to detect changes in patient condition, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses, in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families, ensuring they understand their care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting (New graduates with exceptional clinical rotations are encouraged to apply).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
