Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by collecting and analyzing physiological, psychological, and sociological data.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized medical personnel.
- Monitor patient progress and response to interventions, documenting all changes in condition accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations following established protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong commitment to professional ethics.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by facility needs.
