Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and administer medication as directed.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Nevada.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to start date.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
