Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor Health Status: Regularly monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient care activities, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and assist with code blue situations as required.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Virginia required.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Technology: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Compassion: Strong ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in critical situations.
