Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with precision and empathy
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous attention to detail
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations with clinical expertise
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Provide patient education to empower informed health decisions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee (compact license accepted)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience in telemetry or ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
