Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Document patient progress and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by the State of New Mexico.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
