Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Support patients with emotional needs and provide a comforting presence during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
