Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care delivery per clinical protocols
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to all OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively following established protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with empathy for vulnerable populations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation (for home care assignments)
