Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse medical-surgical, telemetry, and ICU units
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education on disease management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years acute care experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
