Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to elderly residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Support residents with daily activities while maintaining dignity and independence
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments per infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent long-term care experience
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Clear TB test and physical examination
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
