Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care plans, daily progress notes, and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and physicians regarding patient needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and errands related to patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oregon CNA Certification (State License).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
