Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications as delegated and documented per protocols
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Support residents with activities of daily living and social engagement
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Clear criminal background check and drug screen
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
