Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their well-being.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents at all times.
- Report any changes in a resident's physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, but not required if willing to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
