Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to ensure comfort and prevent bedsores.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior CNA experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
- CPR certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Must possess a valid state ID and driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
