Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Perform basic laboratory tests and ECGs
- Sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain patient records and electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage front desk duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or willingness to complete training
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Pass a background check and drug screening
