Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing health status, administering medications, and implementing nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and modify patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all relevant information accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform necessary interventions with composure and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
