Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid State CNA License (or willingness to obtain within probationary period).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude.
