Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide personal hygiene care and ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical personnel to ensure cohesive care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment in accordance with health standards.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois CNA license and valid CNA certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor with a desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
